My research interests are machine learning, and large-scale data mining. I worked with Google Inc., Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as an engineering or research intern. The research topics I worked on include: (1) detection of trends search keywords (Google); (2) parallelization of machine learning algorithms for large-scale data (MSRA); (3) click models in search engine (MSRA); (4) relevance estimation and ranking in search engine (MSRA); (5) large-scale graph mining (HKUST); and (6) collaborative filtering in recommendation systems (HKUST).

Research page shows the citations and summaries of all my publications, and Projects page lists my engineering work. I completed most of them independently.
